Shipping & Returns

Return Policy 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund within 30 days of shipping from our warehouse (excluding shipping and handling charges). Candles To My Door accepts new, never used items in their original packaging back on return. To qualify for a return, all orders must receive an RMA (Return Merchant Authorization) Number. To receive an RMA number, please email service@candlestomydoor.com and include your order number, the reason for the return, and a picture of the current condition of the item(s). Issuance of an RMA number does not guarantee final disposition and all returns are subject to inspection. RMA numbers can be requested up to 30 days after shipment from our warehouse and are valid for 10 days after authorization.

Currently, we do not offer exchanges of products.  All products will be processed as returns.

Return Process

  • Email service@candlestomydoor with your order number, reason for the return, and a picture of the current condition of the item(s) to receive an RMA number.
  • Place the original package into a shipping carton. 
  • Include the invoice and the reason for the return. If defective, please specify the defect. 
  • Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer’s package. 
  • The RMA number must be written clearly on the shipping carton to prevent refusal. 
  • Once items is received and verified will then be available for a refund per our outlined policies.   

Return Eligibility 

All returned items must: 

  • Receive an RMA Number within 30 Days of the item shipping from our warehouse. To receive an RMA number, please email service@candlestomydoor.com.
  • Be returned within 10 Days of receipt of RMA Number. 
  • In new, never used condition in their original packaging. 
  • Items such as food, beverages, candles, fragrance spray, and fragrance lamp oils that have been used when returned will not be refunded. 
  • Include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. 
  • Ship via insured ground service (USPS, FedEx or UPS) with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customerWe will gladly issue a return shipping label and deduct the shipping charges from your refund. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. 

We reserve the right to refuse any return if there are: 

  • Any signs of wear or use.
  • Parts of the item are missing. 
  • The item does not include an RMA number assigned by Candles To My Door
  • The product arrives after the proscribed return period as outlined in our return policy
  • The incorrect product is returned  

If there are any discrepancies or damages when receiving your order, or if the wrong item was delivered, please refer to the What to do if there is a discrepancy with your order. 

Restocking Fees 

Items under $350 USD do not have a restocking fee. 

Select items sold on candlestomydoor.com may be considered a "Special Order" and subject to a limited return policy. A "Special Order" may be:  

  • Items that we do not have in the warehouse and noted “Special Order” on product listing. 
  • Items that we do not have listed on our website that are specially ordered from our distributor. 
  • All orders that have a sale price equal to or greater than $350.  

The return of these items/orders will have a restocking fee of 8% or final sale policies unless otherwise agreed by the Candles To My Door staff via mail, fax, or e-mail.  

Order Discrepancies and Receiving Damaged Items  

If there are any discrepancies with your order, or if the item was damaged in shipping, please contact us within 5 days of receipt at service@candlestomydoor.com so we can rectify the situation. Product discrepancies and damages not notified to Candles To My Door within 5 days may be ineligible for replacement. Using items that you believe are incorrect may void our ability to exchange or replace the items. You may be asked to provide photographs of the damaged or discrepant item(s) to help us better assist you.  

We may provide return shipping if we made a mistake with your order. Return shipping labels will be provided via email. Please print the label and tape it to the shipping carton. In such cases, we will not reimburse or refund shipping charges if you choose not to use our shipping label. 

   

*All returns and refunds are subject to images being sent to our Customer Care team at service@candlestomydoor.com to account for current conditions prior to issuing a refund, sending a replacement, or a general return. All general returns are subject to the customer paying for the return shipping. All refunds will happen after the processes outlined above have been followed. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. 

*In cases where Pre-Orders cannot be met, customers will receive store credit as their refund.

FREE SUPER SAVER SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS OF $85 OR MORE

To qualify for Free Shipping, the order total must be above the current Free Shipping threshold after discounts, promotional codes, or coupons.

Estimated shipment time frames are listed in business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) starting the business day after the product has left our warehouse.

Most orders ship within 24 hours of being placed (excluding weekends and holidays) and will be shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx based on the order’s destination and weight.

**Express Saver, 2nd Day Express, & Overnight Express shipments are sent on Business Days only. Shipments will not be sent on Saturdays or Sundays even if an Express service is selected. Shipments will be shipped from our warehouse the same business day if placed before 12 PM Central Time. Please add one Business Day onto any order placed after 12 PM.

DROP SHIP and SPECIAL ORDER items are excluded from these delivery time frames. Please allow 1-3 weeks delivery time for all Drop Ship and Special Order items, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Sales tax collected where required by law.

SAME OR NEXT DAY SHIPPING: Orders placed by 12 PM Central Time will be shipped the same business day or next business day the order is placed M-F. This is not a money-back guaranteed service, however, 99% of the time we will get your order out the same or next business day. This offer excludes items that are out of stock.

Our standard Super Saver shipping option is through a combination of FedEx Ground, UPS, and USPS and takes approximately 1-12 business days within the Continental United States. For a small charge, you can upgrade to Priority Ground service. This service takes only 1-4 business days. View a FedEx Ground Service Map to see approximate shipping times for your location.

Orders are shipped out Monday-Friday.

Your order is important to us and we know you have taken time to pick out your items. In the event an item is out-of-stock due to an inventory error, we will contact you via email and/or phone to try to substitute or replace the out-of-stock item. If we do not hear from you within a 3-business day period, we will remove the out-of-stock item from your order and ship the remaining items. If your order qualified for free shipping, we would honor the free shipping if the out of stock item drops your order total below the free shipping threshold.

Special order items listed as backordered may still be purchased. Your entire order will be held until all the items arrive.

During periods of extreme heat across the country, we reserve the right to hold CANDLE orders placed towards the end of a work week if it is necessary to do so to avoid candles melting in transit. In these rare cases, orders will be shipped the following Monday .

Tracking numbers for Priority Ground services and Express services are automatically emailed within 24 hours after an order ships.

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO addresses.

Note: If your order was shipped Priority Ground and you need to modify your address after your order has been shipped, a $13.00 rerouting fee will be charged as this is the amount FedEx charges us. Orders shipped through other methods (USPS or FedEx Smartpost) can not be rerouted per Post Office regulations.

Please Note: We do not ship internationally as our products are not made to withstand the long journey overseas. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs to orders that are forwarded to other countries by a third-party shipping company. We are only responsible for the safe delivery of the package to the destination listed as the "Ship to" address on your order. Any problems beyond that point must be claimed with the third-party shipping company. If the shipment arrives to the shipping company in a damaged state, the shipping company will need to refuse the package at that point or contact us before sending the order out.
